Navigate an obstacle course, collecting power-ups to reach the goal. Gradientxterminator is a platformer game where you must get the player through an obstacle course while collecting power-ups to reach the goal. Fail and you get sent back to start until you complete all levels and win. This game was created by Evan Miller and released on February 23, 2012. The player starts at level 1 with 4 lives and 5 health points (2 hit points per level). There are checkpoints that restore one life and progress players between levels (if they die before reaching checkpoints, they lose one life). Players collect gems which are worth 10 points each for a maximum of 1000 points per level. Gems are worth 20 points each on Level 2. Collecting all of the gems in a level is rewarded with an extra life. If players collect all gems on levels 2 to 5 they will receive an extra life on Level 6. There are power-ups that grant greater abilities, such as being able to jump higher or run faster. When players start, they have three hearts of health. Players walk at the standard speed but can double tap the screen to run faster. The player can double tap again to revert back to walking speed after running for a while. The player can jump on top of boxes and obstacles if he has enough room under his feet. The game was released on February 23, 2012. The developer site has been taken down.
